The Definition of Reiki
REI =  Essence of the source of life
KI =  The Energy that gives life

Reiki is a natural healing method that allows for an interior transformation, provides mental and interior peace and a general well-being. The placing of hands allows the channeling of the Universal Energy of Life to circulate freely between therapist and patient.
Under NO circumstances Reiki replaces a medical treatment, its energy reinforces a medical treatment !

It is sufficient to place ones hands on yourself or another person for the REIKI Energy to start flowing and thus creating a harmony and establishing the natural well-being of the body and mind. The universal energy enters the therapist through the crown chakra, located on the top of the head, continues its way through the chakra of the 3rd eye, the chakra of the throat and the chakra of the heart.

Finally it reaches the patient after its flow through arms and hands. The Reiki Practitioner is only the channel that receives, transmits and concentrates the energy. He is only a mean and needs to do abstraction of all personal intentions, especially forgetting his Ego during treatments. The hands serve only as a mean of discovery, it is not necessary to have anatomy knowledge, as Reiki has its own intelligence that finds the energy needs of the body for the healing process.

Reiki has its source in Tantric Buddhism, an ancient and extremly simple system for healing, using the placing of hands. To become a Reiki Practitioner, it is absolutely essential to be trained and initiated directly by a certified master.

Reiki is Universal Love.
Healing becomes more and more important and necessary in this times of human and planetary crisis. Reiki is a natural way of development, very much known in the Orient and rediscouvered by the Japanese Master Mikao USUI in the 19th century.

The possibilities of REIKI are immense !
